BODY CONDITIONING TO DEVELOP FLEXIBILITY, MUSCLE STRENGTH, ENDURANCE IN THE LEGS, ABDOMINALS, ARMS, HIPS AND BACK

Pilates focuses on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing and developing a strong core whilst improving coordination and balance.

More than just an exercise routine, it facilitates a way of moving that enables our bodies to work without injury. You’ll find good posture becomes inherent and you make everyday movements with ease, preventing injuries and premature ageing.

JAMIE FRANCIS PILATES

I deliver Pilates by initially strengthening your core, then integrating movement, connecting all the weaker body parts to the strong centre. As a result, your whole body becomes stronger, and your spine returns to its naturally supple condition.

Using routines based on the principles founded by Joseph Pilates, I incorporate current sport and exercise science research and tailor my practice to how we use our bodies and minds, which have changed since Pilates’ original work.

Sessions will be focussed on your needs and can be tailored to a specific sport or injury rehabilitation led.

WHERE I TEACH

I can come to your home or other location in Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire to teach one-to-one Pilates. These sessions have the benefits of being focussed on your specific abilities and needs, so we can work with your unique strengths and weaknesses.

I also teach workshops and classes in a beautiful thatched barn in Armscote, Warwickshire and the Bamford Haybarn Spa, Daylesford in Oxfordshire.
